Conner Edwards

CEO of Limitless Ability

About

Conner has spent the last 15 years of his life working with people who have a variety of different abilities. Through camps, classrooms, ABA clinics, Best Buddies, Special Olympics, residential facilities, and respite, Conner has witnessed firsthand what good instruction and access to high quality services can provide for people with even the most complex of needs. He has been a presenter at both state and national conferences and was the 2016 recipient of the Council for Exceptional Children’s Outstanding Undergraduate Student of the Year. He is excited to share his vision for Limitless Ability with you all and how together, as a community, we can make lifelong growth for everyone a reality.

Kurt Frederick

About

Kurt Frederick currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Westfield High School. While Kurt spent his early professional career as a special education teacher serving students across the continuum of services, he soon realized the importance of preparing students for the day after graduation. He went on to serve as the District Transition Coordinator for the MSD of Wayne Township Schools where he spearheaded efforts to open a new Transition Center and was the Westside Secondary Transition Council Leader during his time there.

The Future of Limitless

Kurt is excited about the opportunity to serve on the board for Limitless Ability.  He believes that every person, without exception, has unlimited potential for growth, improvement, and success in life.  He has the utmost respect for Conner Edwards, the founder of Limitless Ability, and his team.  Kurt knows that together, we can create something better.

Jessica Conrad

About

Jessica is a speech-language pathologist and Specialist with the PATINS Project working with Indiana public schools to support access to the curriculum. She’s passionate about evidence-based literacy and language access for all. In her free time she is a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, on the board of the Indiana Division for Early Childhood for the Council for Exceptional Children, and a novice stained glass artist.

Katie Griffin

About

Katie Griffin is a long time advocate for kids and adults with special needs. She is the mother of Jack, 21, who has cerebral palsy and has consistently worked to help him live his best life. Jack was fortunate to attend Camp Riley during his summers and had the wonderful opportunity to work with Conner Edwards as his camp counselor. In her professional life, she has had a career filled with nonprofit management, development and Human Resources. At Kiwanis International, Katie managed the only international service club for adults with disabilities for over 10 years. Most recently, Katie is the Human Resources Manager at St. Joseph’s Institute for the Deaf. With a belief that everyone should have the opportunity to be a lifelong learner, Katie is excited to be a part of the board of directors for Limitless Ability.

Nick Coles

About

Nicholas Coles is a senior at Indiana University Southeast studying computer science. He has been elected the President of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma, and is responsible for all community volunteer events with their Philanthropic partner, Special Olympics.

He met Conner Edwards while attending Bradford Woods’ Camp Riley and is aware from personal experience how instrumental effective Physical & Occupational Therapies can be to ensure the greatest level of independence.

Jenny Rice

About

Jenny Rice has been a long-time and fierce advocate for children with disabilities. She is the mother to Canyon, an 18 year old on the Autism Spectrum. She has seen the progress that continuous services can provide for children no matter their level of need. Jenny is also an animal lover and runs her own small business providing care for dogs and cats around Indianapolis!
